The building services engineering company Hälg Group is opening a new site for its building automation business segment in Fribourg-Givisiez. This is the seventh Hälg building automation site and the second in Western Switzerland.
The building automation company Hälg Group based in St.Gallen is opening a new location in Fribourg-Givisiez, expanding its network in this business segment. According to media release Fribourg is the seventh location. Previously, the Hälg Gebäudeautomation was represented by its own locations in St.Gallen, Lucerne, Zurich, Basel, Chur and Geneva.
From the new location, plant construction is to be operated in the Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Lausanne regions. Together with the current site in Geneva, Hälg Gebäudeautomation would thus be represented throughout western Switzerland. As of September 1, a team of four will be on site. The first employee has already started work now, Hälg emphasizes in the media release that the team in Fribourg-Givisiez is embedded in the network of Building Automation Switzerland. The employees in the individual locations exchanged information. Thus, Hälg & Co. AG Building Automation could, in addition to the team on site, also access the building automation team throughout Switzerland.The family-owned company Hälg will be managed by the owners in the fourth generation, the statement said. The company’s goal, it said, is to make the Hälg Group the leading Swiss service provider for building technology in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitation over the entire life cycle of a plant.
The group of companies says it employs 1125 people at 22 sites in Switzerland and generated sales of 312 million Swiss francs in 2020.
